Gauge Class

Went to a great class on gauge on Saturday afternoon at my LYS.  I was the only participant that day so it was a private lesson.  Got a great handout to take home as a reference for the math needed to figure out my gauge issues.  Was  so psyched I couldn’t wait to get home and try it out.

So Saturday night I wound up a ball of Paca Tweed that I got on the yarn crawl weekend.  SOOOO soft.  Found a cute pattern in one of my books for a hat by Hannah Fettig, and just started knitting.  No gauge swatch.   I knit along happily until last night when I realized this hat is just huge and tore it out.  I did take some gauge measurements before I did so — so I can start again.

Sometimes I don’t understand myself.
